Micro Wedding at The Butterfly Pavilion in Denver for Felina & Eric!

Felina and Eric had the most wonderful micro wedding at the butterfly pavilion in Denver! The Butterfly Pavilion is located in Westminster, Colorado. It opened on July 15, 1995, and was the first stand-alone non-profit insect zoo in the United States. The 30,000-square-foot facility is situated on 11 acres of land, and contains five main exhibit areas to teach visitors about butterflies and other invertebrates. The main exhibit is an indoor rain forest filled with 1,200 free-flying tropical butterflies. This venue is absolutely perfect for small weddings, you can get more information about having your own wedding https://butterflies.org/private-events/.

Felina and Eric met about five years ago and instantly hit it off bonding over similar interests and her love of cats which also turned into his! The details of this wedding were so thoughtful, her mother made all of the bridesmaids bouquets as well as the brides. Friends and family all contributed a little something to make their wedding one of a kind, from the little jars of honey to the chocolate butterfly wedding favors. This couple definitely wanted to celebrate their love but also keep it low-key so they had a micro wedding which is less than 50 guests.

We started off with a first look at the stunning modern Origin Hotel, and from there the couple with a bridal party took a limo to the butterfly pavilion in Westminster. The ceremony was done by her stepfather, Forest, and it was the perfect "Dudeism"ceremony. We did a ton of photos as you can see, there are so many little gems inside the pavilion itself! After we headed back to the hotel for dinner, photo booth fun, cake and dancing! The couple ended their evening with the most adorable paper airplane sendoff!
